About Murty Polavarapu
Murty Polavarapu's career is marked by groundbreaking contributions in technology, a commitment to education, and impactful humanitarian initiatives.
Technology Pioneer
Murty Polavarapu develops advanced semiconductor products for defense and aerospace, including space applications. He also directs the Virginia Microelectronics Consortium, holding eleven patents and earning numerous industry awards.
Academic Achievements
He holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Howard University and a Master's in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania, laying a strong foundation for his innovative work.
Global Humanitarian
As a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, Murty taught in rural Fiji. He also co-founded a non-profit dedicated to providing computers to schools in Ethiopia, reflecting his passion for social impact.
